XenForo 2.3.0 beta Convert pre-existing style to have alternate light/dark mode

(NB: I selected 2.2 as a prefix was necessary but this is 2.3 question)

Do I need to start a style from scratch in order to have weight/dark switching or can I apply it to an existing style I made before 2.3?

I note that the alternate option is not available for my existing styles.

This is not available on may exiting styles


So can the existing style be converted somehow?
