Ques/Help Any addons for implementing a message under the header on the front page?

Hi, it's me again, another quick question: any addons that let me put a little message under the header on the front page? Just want to tell users the site is still in early development and things might be broken here and there, then maybe have a little picture to the left. Thanks if anyone knows.
