XenForo Anyone know how to add this featured section to my forum?

One of my favorite Xenforo forums has a featured thread slider. I'm wondering if anyone knows how I can implement this on my forum. Here's what it looks like (in the red box):

It looks fairly similar to the featured resources slider:
