Several areas in XenForo require password confirmation before an action can be performed / completed.
XenForo describes Passkeys as a replacement for passwords:
But currently it is not possible to use a Passkey for "password confirmation".
Suggested fix
Accept Passkeys for "password confirmation" (Preferred)
or
Change the wording to make it more clear that Passkeys are in fact not a full replacement for passwords
