Bug Forum filtering is confusing in some cases

Steps to reproduce

1. Create a forum with Thread list date limit = 7 days
2. Access that (empty) forum
3. Open the filter menu , set Last updated =14 days and click Filter
4. Click on Show older items

Expected Result
Either
a) Filter Last updated: 14 days is removed after step 4) - Preferred
or
b) Link Show older items is not beig displayed after step 3)
