Ques/Help How to downgrade an admin?

One of my co-admins has asked to be removed back to being a normal member, but when I try to change their membership from Administrator to Registered I get an error message.

I remember there was a way to protect admin accounts from being changed but am a little rusty on the details. Any pointers welcome.
