Ques/Help Issue with "Do Not Display Username Change Publicly" Not Saving

I'm encountering an issue where, when I tick the "Do not display username change publicly (if changed)" option, it keeps untoggling and isn't saving. I don't want the previous usernames icon to show on users!

Anyone knows what I'm doing wrong?
