Ques/Help merge user join date

our forums fairly old and a lot of the time people forget they had an account or forget emails etc

my question is when Join users do they keep the oldest date or the newest date?

e.g

Bob Joined 2021
Bobbob joined 2022,

I burn bob into bobbob, would it have 2021 or 2022?
