Ques/Help remove /forums/ from links

Hello,
I enabled the feature Use Full Friendly URLs, this is a wonderful feature however within the links shows /forums/
For example
https://test.site/forums/announcements/

I'd like to know if there is a way to remove the /forums/ from that link to just show
https://test.site/announcements/
