It is a semi-common thing, that some of my sites have trouble with users confirming their email address. The issue is around how XenForo generates a new confirmation link and invalidates the old ones.
The users will generated multiple, and due to email delays on very busy sites they will try to use an older email confirmation link which was invalid. This produces an error page which doesn't guide the user in what they should have done instead.
