XenForo User Upgrade Does not Downgrade after expiration

I have user A who upgrades for 1 month for access to forum 1

After the month and subscription expiration the user is still in the group for forum 1. Isn't the usergroup supposed to be removed after subscription expiration?

Under what conditions would it not expire?
