Ques/Help Users Not Receiving Verification Emails

They are not receiving the verification emails. Is there a way to turn it off so they don’t need to verify their emails? Is there a way to know why they aren’t receiving it? How do I remedy this? This has been happening since I started the site last year. I only gave a few members but they all didn’t receive it.
