I am a huge fan of webp but now that xenforo.com is switching to webp suddenly jpg only browsers give me the missing image errors.
Perhaps I am the minority but for a specific reason I am using a non-web browser.
Wish it would be backwards compatible and serve both images as needed even if the cost is double the image storage.
