Ques/Help XF doesn’t convert animated GIF avatars into WebP?

Is it like that for everyone? I thought WebP supports animation - doesn’t it?
I optimized all the files, but I noticed that PageSpeed Insights still says that some avatars need to be optimized.
I checked, and they turned out to be regular GIFs.
