Bug After thread merge, users watching thread A get notification for new posts but no flag

There is a bug in this version

  • User x is watching thread A
  • Thread A gets merged into Thread B (with redirect so user x is now watching thread B)
  • User y posts to (now merged) thread B
  • User x does gets alert for the new post, but no red flag is shown by their alert icon
