You can ENG regardless of Vendor ID (Micron / Samsung / SKHynix) as long as the Board ID is 1.xx.

If you flash without selecting modemst1, modemst2, fsg and fsc while assigning ENG, the QCN of the device will remain as it is.

When the device is turned on, I recommend that you open the diag and read the original QCN of the device and make transactions with its own QCN.

Or, the QCN you will send is taken from the device with SAMSUNG chip before. Other than that, the method is exactly the same.

The silence situations you mentioned are only valid for devices with 2.xx and 3.xx Board IDs.
